Here’s the invitation for the WWDC 2014 keynote. A bit early maybe.
After iOS 7 was announced, a lot of people started criticizing its icons. And suddenly every person is a designer, and in some ways even better than Apple. Though not everyone spent some time thinking about the actual design.
The year 2013 has come to an end. I’d like to recap my most memorable moments from 2013, as well as telling my plans and predictions for 2014.
2013 started for me as a year of photography and filmmaking. At least that’s what I thought it would be. I was watching a lot of filmmaking tutorials, camera reviews, following great filmmakers like Philip Bloom and so on. I’m so thankful I didn’t become a filmmaker. I have no interest in it now what so ever. I still take pictures sometimes though. Most of them are from my phone.
At that time I began to really get into music creation. I was trying my best to make a song and it wasn’t until September when I finally created something reasonable.
By the summer of 2013 I decided to develop apps again. I released my app Inspiring on July 7th. Then there was a big break, and on November 3rd I released my second app called Projects. This one was more fun. But then my interest quickly wore off.
It’s interesting how hobbies go by so fast. My other hobby was creating Ableton Live projects for Novation Launchpad to act as a light show grid. That went for about a month. Looking back, this idea seems too childish.
By the end of the year I started getting into graphic design. It began with the redesign of my website which is now left at nicoachkasov2.tumblr.com. Then I used my newly earned skills to redesign Inspiring, and then design Projects.
Now, for the 2014. I’d like to begin 2014 by revealing iOS 8 Infinity to the world. Then I’d like to focus on music, but I see quite a big chance of me developing apps for Android. And I’m really hoping 2014 is going to be a more amazing year than 2013 was.
